You can set blend options for lines, ellipses, rectangles and text in the Filling tab and Shadow tab of the corresponding Properties dialogs. For example, if you deal with an ellipse, the Filling tab allows you to fill in the ellipse body, the Shadow tab - to fill the ellipse shadow. When you choose the Blend option, you can select one of the gradient spanning modes. If brightness is increased from left to right as shown in the picture below (the Linear blend), you can modify its gradient angle. The Filling tab (for ellipses) is displayed below.
If brightness is increased from the center to the edges as shown in the picture below (the Circle blend), you can modify the blend parameters discussed below.
Radius: |
Defines the area where blending takes place (in the image borders). This value may be in the range from 0 to +1. |
Center X: |
Defines placement of the image center along the X-axis. This value may be in the range from -1 to +1. |
Center Y: |
Defines placement of the image center along the Y-axis. This value may be in the range from -1 to +1. |
If brightness is increased from the center as shown in the picture below (the Diamond blend), you can modify all the parameters described above.
Note: The blend parameters are measured in the relative units.
